10-11-8 Ottowa bike ride

Got a run yesterday that had me going to Ottawa in Canada. 159 miles west of Montreal. Judy was able to get out of work early we loaded up the bikes and off we went. With delivery done at 130 in morning we were able to hit this bike path. http://mcgoldrick.ca/bike/

Cruising down the path we came across map and found them along rest of route

Nice day for a ride.

Local artist that's been stacking rocks since year 2000. Winter rolls in with ice and spring brings flooding waters and a clean slate.

Good to see bikes on the blog again hope to use it during winter. Museums off path, bring lock next time.

This path keeps getting better around every bend.

Ottawa river was the place to be here's one for Tony bring your kayak

Rounding the bend brought us to a lock that was in the process of moving boat.

Walking over to this twenty foot drop couldn't believe public could get so close. Gotta like free for all attitude. Judy looked over the edge and said take my picture.

Looking up stream.

History of locks and cross for dead that built system
