Woke up in Buffalo with delivery to Stratford.
Mild day up here so we took walk around town, found this Canadian Indian store full of local art for sale.





Shopping done we Head back, weather kicks up on the wind and down on the temp.

Run to Canada had me get mom out of the house for a walk around Syracuse today. We will cross border tomorrow.

We jumped in the car and headed to downtown Springfield for a hockey game against Hartford.

Wally chucked out the first puck to get the game going.

We chucked our own pucks between periods. Mom and Judy didn't win the car but its always fun to throw stuff at a major league event.

Hartford is Springfield's rival and the penalty boxes were full all night.

In the end Springfield won two minutes into overtime, best game ever.

I was walking into Stop&Shop minding my own business when accosted by little cookie sales women. Not to be pushed into an impulse buy, I asked the question. "Do you have Samoas?" They did, I bought. Couple years ago the name was changed for the sake of political correctness, I stopped buying.

Delivery to Canada last night had me making way back home today with a pit stop in Syracuse.

Two sides on monument this shows Sgt Lilly of the 149th "Mending the flag" on Culps hill in the battle of Gettysburg.


Next to Soldiers and Sailors Monument is outdoor skating rink with old picture of area. Nice old buildings in this town alot like Holyoke before it burned.



World War I memorial standing tall bayonet leading the way. Found good link looking for this memorial.

Walked about an hour in town came across park dedicated to Firefighters.
