Ive worked for my share of landscapers over the years. Most of these guys out muscled my mom but none out produced her. Over the years Ive heard old school Italians digging holes and burying the fig trees for the winter. Some have them in pots and move them indoors. My mom tried a few different things over the years and came up with wrapping them in fence and covering them leaves.
It works great and I have plenty of leaves to donate to the cause.
