Cannons on the wall pointed to Fort George across the way. Fort George was built after British gave Fort Niagara to the colonies.

One lone sentinel stands watch more for the cat that prowls this site.

BBQ down near the wall was used to heat cannon balls to send fire hot metal at enemy.
Iron racks in the oven at an angle allowed balls to be fed in one end removed at other.

This building was where the powder was stored. Four foot thick walls and a ceiling covered with soil before roof capped it off.

Looking at it from inside and outside dimensions really different.

The old girl of the yard is the castle, many rooms in here along with well at the entrance. Building open to public with three floors to look at.

Theres a cage over the well so Timmy doesn't fall in.
