5-10-14 Hummingbirds

Judy and I happened to be sitting around in the yard today, glad we did. We have never seen this much activity with these guys before. Three of them were at the feeders for eight hours. One would buzz in and feed another would buzz in and chase it off. We watched this all afternoon inches from them.

After all the chasing around we seen what all the effort was for. A female bird and male may be having some eggs real soon.

4-27-14 Easter replay

 Family back to full strength this weekend after part went to Florida. New day new cake.

Easter at Moms

 Mom broke out her egg mold for above cake. She bought this sometime in the late seventies and has made one every year since.

 Sis bought above bird house for Moms Birthday and she just couldn't put it outside. Looks pretty sweet above the sink.

 Moms codfish cakes and soup, staples of every meal.

 Oh Bread.
