 Beach here has a lot of these sun visors that you can swivel to where the sun in the sky is for shade.

9-11-12 Peniche Portugal

 Leaving Politics and a sad anniversary behind today for a walk in Peniche Portugal.

 This is the ocean community closest to Moms small town.

 Fifteen minute bus ride or five minutes by my Moms Cousin Jack. Jacks always been a great guy in our family always good to see this him. He really showed us a great time.

 Next stop on the tour is a look at the ocean from this place.

View from the bottom of the stairs has the ocean taking you in off the rocks in rougher seas.

 For lunch we passed on the Mc Bifanas and got right to the meat of this trip, FISH. Jack to us to a great spot for sardines and wine.

 My Grandfather worked on this pier a long time ago. The cement jax have been added over the years and are huge.

 Across the way is the first pier we started the day on.

 Quick drive to Jacks to check on stuff. Kiwi fruit not ripe yet grapes almost there.

 Prickly Pear are ready to go. Broke out the gloves fired up the burner to sing thorns off and ate.

 Jack brought us to his second home, Santa Cruz. First of the many great views we would see on this trip.

9-10-12 Portugal

 Judy and I landed in Portugal today to meet Mom for a two week vacation.

 It wasn't long before we dragged Judy out for a tour of the town.

 Here's a little bread porn if you ever had fresh chorizo bread. This was baked fresh every morning and 430 in the afternoon. This is perfection on a plate.

 Day one in the books and we didn't know it yet but we would only have one days rest at Moms. We had three great tour guides.

Keith Urban concert today in New Hampshire. These girls parked next to us with a freshly bought car and not a care in the world. The friendly group of girls next to them pulled a prank for leaving vehicle unattended.

 Visited the winter home of the MT. Washington today.

 This dry dock is rolled out to the lake with the boat in it its hauled back in.

 Big chain and little shed conceal what has to be a good size motor. Gotta see them take this out one day.

 Mr Squirrel is just happy to be here.
