Today Moms friends from the states picked us up for a view of their area.
I've know Walt and Fernanda since forever. They brought us bowling to the races and now were tooling around Fernandas old stomping grounds.
This place was massive. An old monistary that was consecrated Oct 20 1253.

Walt stopped and we looked into an old wind mill that people ground there grains in. This was not a safe place. Really cool to see all the old workings. Wood cogs spindles beams stone wheels walls and steps. Shame to see this wasting away to nature. Some of these old mills are being restored and are nice tourist spots.
Always a good time with Walt and Fernanda.
