Freezing rain on the way home. Snow in northwestern Mass. Snow tonight and we will see if its snow in the morning.

10-15-11 Wounded Warrior Project 8K
Up at 0400 this morning to help set up fund raiser 8K run/walk for Wounded Warrior Project. Longmeadow town green is the launch point.

The registration tents open for business. Stage and chairs set up, were open for business.

Longmeadow Fire Dept. brought a bounce house for the kids.
A few safety tents.

10-9-11 Misquamicut
We had options today but when Judy said "lets go to the beach." That didn't even enter my October state of mind. With mid eighty degree temps forecast we picked up Mom and headed south. Getting to the gates in Westerly Rhode Islands state beach it was nice to see free parking.
The beach was jammin, we were not alone.
This crew was adding onto a castaway condo.
Some homes were shut down others flags were still flying high.
October 9Th on the beach in Rhode Island with chairs waiting for next summer.

10-8-11 Breaking down the camp
With one final look at our new meter. Were closing the camps down today.
All tucked in for the winter.
Last night fire was a good one. See you in the spring New Hampshire.
